Tea Cozy opened in 1998 in a former freight elevator and has since moved to a bigger space inside ARTHOUSE on the R Street Corridor. It carries more than 150 loose-leaf teas across white, green, oolong, black, pu-erh and herbal, plus teapots and brewing gear, and pours hot tea to go. Founders Mike and Nami Thompson handed the shop to longtime employee Linda Walker in 2025.
