Lupicia is a Japanese tea chain whose brand dates to 1994; its corporate registration lists Niseko, Hokkaido as head office, with offices in Tokyo, Sapporo and Osaka. Most of its shops are in Japan. Its only US store opened in Hawaii in 2002 and today sits in Ala Moana Center, Honolulu, which also handles the US online shop at usa.lupicia.com. Other overseas shops include Melbourne (2004) and Paris (2013).

The catalog runs past 100 teas, and flavored blends are the draw: Sakurambo, a cherry-scented green tea, and Momo Oolong, a peach oolong, are the best-known. There are also plain Darjeeling, Assam and Japanese green teas, plus seasonal releases. Start with Sakurambo or Momo Oolong Super Grade.
