The Jefferson serves its Southern Afternoon Tea on Fridays and Saturdays on the mezzanine balcony above the hotel's Rotunda, with seatings from noon to 4:15 pm. The standard service is $50 per person plus tax and gratuity: finger sandwiches including ham on a sweet potato biscuit, scones with Devonshire cream, pastries and a choice of tea. A Chocolate Lover's Tea runs on the first and third Saturdays, and holiday teas start the day after Thanksgiving.
