Portal Tea Company is the current name of Tea Chai Té, the Portland tea shop Angela and Dominic Valdes opened on NW 23rd Avenue in 2003 with 46 teas. They renamed it after 20 years. It now runs three shops: NW 23rd, a converted 1920s railroad caboose in Sellwood, and a Eugene shop on Broadway that opened in 2021.
The menu covers more than 120 house blends, chai and bubble tea, and blends are numbered on the label. Online orders ship from Portland. Order Vanilla Rose Chai #69 first if you drink chai; otherwise try Space Dust, one of its featured house blends.
