Blue Lotus Chai is a tea company based in Eugene, OR with 19 teas in stock in our catalog. Last updated October 1, 2026 by My Tea Explorer.
Blue Lotus Chai is a family-owned chai company in Eugene, Oregon. Barbara Cameron launched it in February 2010 with one product, Traditional Masala Chai, after drinking masala chai in India. It sells online in tins, sample pouches and bulk bags, and supplies cafes through a food-service and wholesale program. It runs no shop of its own.
The product is instant: brewed black tea is flash-dried to a powder and mixed with ground spices, so a cup needs only hot water, milk and sweetener. Blue Lotus says the 3 oz Traditional tin makes about 100 cups. The Traditional blend uses Assam tea with ginger, cardamom, black pepper, cassia, nutmeg and cloves, with no sugar or fillers added. The catalog stays narrow at six flavors. Start with Traditional Masala Chai, then try Rooibos Masala Chai if you want a caffeine-free cup, or Star Anise Masala Chai for a licorice note.
