Western and gongfu: midpoints of Mei Leaf’s chart; sencha from Japan’s Ministry of Agriculture (2–3 g per 100 ml). Grandpa: Eco-Cha’s 1:40. Cold brew: Rishi’s 1 tablespoon (4–5 g) per 16 oz; sencha uses Ippodo’s 10 g in 210 ml of chilled water for 15 minutes. For comparison, ISO 3103 tasting uses 2 g per 100 ml, and Rishi’s hot-brew default of 4–5 g per 8 oz works out to 1.7–2.1 g. A dash means we found no published figure.
