Boba & Iced Tea in Portland, OR

Bubble-tea and iced-tea shops we checked, and how to cold-brew loose-leaf tea at home. For hot tea, tea rooms and loose-leaf shops, see the Portland tea guide.

Portland has no single boba street. The east side runs along SE Foster Road and SE 82nd Avenue, downtown has Bobacat by Portland State, and the newer independents are in North and Northeast Portland. Several of the independents brew from loose leaf and cook their pearls in-house through the day, which is the thing to look for here.
